@yasuolover96@meaglon3@Makulatoren@Rothmus They were slaves??? Christian slaves forced to fight since they were teens??? Just don’t treat them like cannon fodder, treat them like regular military personnel and then how we treat veterans. If their spirits aren’t broken by then, they’ll surely be loyal.
@Xhicken69420 @sophie45x @KareemRifai It made them rich before why wouldn’t it now? There wasn’t a whole lot of independent business before US sanctions. Most of them were controlled or partially managed by US companies. It goes through its previous development, except its economy diversifies a bit, why wouldn’t it?
@one_done944411@Copper5th@iphonebroken37@Guardsman_Miku@HowlingChud I’m not sure if he’s Indian, but Muslims had major influence in Indian Ocean trade before European expansion, even founding the Delhi Sultanate. What’s confusing is the other guy mentioning a Hindu god, implying a Hindu is defending Islam.
@nnonarch@Dontfeedthecrz@GrumpyCatterman@grok@Mephitus_Skunk You’re right. While slice-of-life may often include romance, it isn’t romance. I never claimed they were novels, I said they were closely related due to the content being adapted from an actual novel. All graphic novels are comics, not all comics are graphic novels.
@nnonarch@Dontfeedthecrz@GrumpyCatterman@grok@Mephitus_Skunk I also never claimed that men don’t read smut; I was just confused about what you were referring to as male-targeted smut. I’d say that most men who consume NSFW content rely on other forms of media, such as porn or porn games, rather than novels.
@nnonarch@Dontfeedthecrz@GrumpyCatterman@grok@Mephitus_Skunk You asked if men read romantic novels? My interpretation of that was if men read romance not if men read smut. I’m assuming that’s also what anime PfP interpreted. I apologize for the misunderstanding. Slice-of-life isn’t smut in the first place.
@nnonarch@Dontfeedthecrz@GrumpyCatterman@grok@Mephitus_Skunk My reply was to clarify the manga and novels weren’t as distantly related as you suggested. Could you clarify what you mean by manga being male-targeted smut? Are you referring to smut specifically or that slice of life/manga as a whole is degenerate smut?
@nnonarch@Dontfeedthecrz@GrumpyCatterman@grok@Mephitus_Skunk Manga is often adapted from light novels making them graphic novels. While some events are rearranged or left out for the sake of congruency, or cost cutting, they’re normally faithful adaptations of the novels they’re based off. (Yeah I know light novels aren’t as sophisticated)
@VeryCursedMan @Callisto4K @Sirmoenky@hourly_shitpost They said they put it in MEASUREMENTS that actually make sense. In other words, imperial makes more sense than metric to them.
