It’s all fun and games having Criterion Channel 24/7 playing in the background on the TV until you look up and suddenly realize they’re showing Michael Haneke’s The Piano Teacher
Exciting new one for @stlmag! I got to chat with beloved character actor @RealRichardKind about playing Edna Turnblad in Hairspray at @TheMuny in June: https://t.co/jrgtGSgivY
Before seeing the Mountain Goats again tonight (for the sixth time, I think), I read back through this excellent GQ profile on John Darnielle from last year! Really lovely and insightful stuff! https://t.co/mYjDJfC8m1
Delighted to learn that Yo La Tengo’s score to The Sounds of Science, included in this @Criterion Jean Painlevé collection, was recorded at the @wufilmseries here in St. Louis back in 2005!
