Hey #Cardano $ADA fam.

Something is deeply wrong and flawed with project catalyst. I have been voting since the beginning and lately I'm noticing some disturbing trends. Including an 86% rejection rate.

This includes way more spam/scam proposals but also an incredibly high rejection % including proposals that are very clearly net positives for the ecosystem by competent teams as a whole.

It appears we have a handful of whale wallets making the majority of the decisions. It's like the hunger games now.

There were too many great teams and proposals to list here but I'll name some that had more wallets vote for them, but a handful of whales turn the tides.

One was by @IagonOfficial with their Statur reputation model. A system that would allow other metrics other than the amount of ada you hold contribute potentially to your voting power on a given thing potentially in catalyst and elsewhere in the cardano governance stack. Unsurprisingly, whales holding a ton of ada weren't fond of this. Not exactly pro governance is it?

Another is by @GeniusyieldO and their open sourced PAB that many folks rely on. Why on earth would you vote against something as basic as this? These aren't vanity projects, research grants, or potential deliverables, but core infrastructure ready to become actual deliverables. Nuts and bolts stuff.

There are many many other examples of this too of competent teams with needed proposals getting shut down by a handful of well heeled whales. Unacceptable.
