This is Joonhee Han. He was a 19-year-old Korean boy who was beaten to death by a black man in broad daylight in Los Angeles.
Joonhee was simply walking in Koreatown when a black man approached him on a scooter and violently pushed him from behind. After Joonhee hit his head on the ground, the attacker kept punching Joonhee’s head against the pavement. A few days later, he was declared brain dead and passed away.
National news won’t cover this story because it was another black-on-Asian violent crime. There will be no protests, no outrage, no advocacy from Asian celebrities and activists for this young Korean man who was murdered because the race of the perpetrator poses a threat to their racial narratives. Cowards, utterly shameful.
Joonhee Han and his family deserve better. When will the black-on-Asian violence stop and when will we finally get accountability for it?

It’s been 100 years since the Canadian government used legislation to keep Chinese immigrants out of the country.

Students from the elite school Tsinghua University protested with Friedmann equation. I have no idea what this equation means, but it does not matter.
It's the pronunciation: it's similar to "free的man" (free man)—a spectacular and creative way to express, with intelligence.
@CP24 How audaciously Rogers claimed that service is “mostly” restored? My home internet is still down. Was Rogers hacked? Does Rogers have a disaster recovery plan? So many questions!
In one week, we will commemorate the 105th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, one of the most important battles in Canadian military history. At a time of great instability, let us remember the heroism and sacrifices of those who fought so hard to secure peace in Europe.
@merry123459 It takes time for people in this province to forget about what the previous Liberal government did and for the current PC government to screw up badly. Then the Liberal will have a chance to win. And a more approachable party leader probably won’t hurt.
I have no idea how long it will take. But I am confident in predicting that Putin's evil invasion of Ukraine marks the beginning of the end of Putin's dictatorship and Putinism in Russia. No moral person can support this heinous war. There are millions of moral people in Russia.

In this moment of national emergency we must all seek ways to deescalate the situation for the safety of all Canadians.
Make no mistake: The border cannot, and will not, remain closed. Every option is on the table. So, if you’re participating in these illegal blockades that are taking our neighbourhoods and our economy hostage, it’s time to go home – especially if you have your kids with you.
