Everything pointing to this being not just a Fabry deal for $SGMO but much l, much more. Wouldn’t be surprised if both HemoA and Fabry go to the same partner. Maybe even open deal for future GTs using the same AAV+Promoter. Beaucoup bucks coming our way.
BREAKING $SGMO
Nav1.7 gene tx for SFN Pain
dose escalation is underway (4 sites activated),
@ earnings will provide add'l clarity into timing for #initial 12wk #data, said will incl 1st two cohorts (n=3 each; randomized 2:1 vs sham) and
pot'ly some pts from 3rd high-dose cohort
@ElKapitan57@BiotechAnalysst@yusufhameed Would imagine $SGMO structures spinout into some advantageous cash sale to address near term liquidity issues while
retaining some upside. Essentially a partnership, but scale of spinout deal (multiple techs and INDs) requires time.
@kaysaaa81@BiotechAnalysst@Franca_ole@ZinselmeyerB@BioStocks@BiotechCH If BP wants the AAV and promoter for $SGMO gene therapy that would make sense for everyone. $SGMO GT can be repurposed for several diseases and that tech platform is not to $SGMO anymore. If BP wants Fabry+HemoA+others that’s great - they just gotta pay for it.
