@DevinJRoach But actually the whole point of academia is having the freedom to do what you want and be yourself, so don't worry about others' opinions!
Exciting work led by Jason Kronenfeld is now out in @Nature! This work demonstrates high throughput roll-to-roll microparticle printing with materials ranging from hydrogels to ceramics. Also the first publication from my postdoc!
We are very excited to share a new paper out of the lab, led by @StanfordUChem PhD student, Jason Kronenfeld, in @Nature ! This work introduces Roll-to-roll CLIP, a new technique for large scale, high resolution production of shape-specific particles!

[PMSE 100] Congratulations to the PMSE Future Leaders! Symposium to be held at the 2024 Spring ACS National Meeting, New Orleans, LA, March 17-21, 2024 as part of the PMSE centennial celebration. #ACSSpring2024#PMSE100#RisingStars#polymer@AmerChemSociety
@zhangmeng459153@Nature Thanks for the question! In principle HIAM can work with any water-soluble precursor (or solvent-soluble, if you infuse an organogel). For example, in the paper we used a non-nitrate salt to make W. Water solubility was an important factor for choosing nitrate vs. sulfate for us.
Check out our PMSE session tomorrow on General Papers/New Concepts in Polymeric Materials at #ACSFall2023!
I'll be presiding along with Amanda Forster (NIST), and giving a talk at 9:30 am on hydrogel infusion additive manufacturing (HIAM).
At the #ACSFall2023 conference? Like transition metal complexation, aqua ligands, and/or dissolvable polymers?
Check out my poster on solvated metallo-polyelectrolyte dynamic cross-linking (Poster Board #: 2880)
PMSE/POLY SESSION: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Tuesday, 15 Aug)
@Caltech
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Stanford Polymer Collective Poster Symposium last Friday! We had a great turn out including several volunteer judges from academia and industry. Congratulations to @AlanaGudinas and Ana De La Fuente for winning the Judge's Choice Awards!
For those at #MRSFall2022, don't miss Prof. Daryl Yee @dryeeseeks give a talk on hydrogel infusion additive manufacturing (#HIAM) today at 3:45 pm!
Unfortunately covid prevented me from joining #F22MRS, but big thank you to Daryl for stepping up to cover this talk!
Single-digit-micrometer-resolution CLIP 3D printing! Bravo to the entire @Stanford @DeSimoneLab team, especially @hsiao_kaiwen!! https://t.co/noQ4zC5jDH
