What an awesome night as we graduated 22 Dragons "on the field". Congratulations men (and lady) on your academic achievements and this significant milestone in your lives.

Top GPA seniors Max Wu and Camden Fike addressed their classmates with some words of reflection and inspiration.

The Region 1 Finals of the @uiltexas 6A-D2 playoffs is set. Southlake Carroll (30-7-1) will take on Flower Mound Marcus (28-10) @thepackbaseball in a best 2-of-3 series. All games will be played at DBU @DBU_Baseball, with the winner advancing to the state semi-finals.

The Dragons were the regular season champions of District 4, and eliminated Weatherford, Frenship, and Denton Guyer in the first three rounds of the playoffs.

The Marauders finished first in District 5, and defeated McKinney Boyd, Dallas Jesuit, and Byron Nelson to advance to round four.

🚨⚾️🏆ON TO ROUND FOUR! 🏆⚾️🚨

Carroll came from behind with a pair of runs in the 6th to defeat Denton Guyer 3-2 and advance to the @uiltexas 6A-D2 Region Finals.

@EvanRobson2025 drew a leadoff walk, @CSommerbaseball had an 8-pitch AB to draw another walk, and @CooperNewby44 laid down a sac bunt that was mishandled to load the bases. Freshman @cd33lefty walked to score @thiel_adam with the tying run, before @RaisedNBaseball lofted a sac fly to RF to give the Dragons the lead.

Senior RHP @ethanbaiotto picked up the win, going 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, striking out 10 on a 105-pitch effort. Carson pitched the 7th for a high-pressure save, punching out two and coaxing a ground ball to @DavisPerkins_ at SS to end it.

Dean was 2-for-3 with a walk and a pair of RBI's. Perkins walked and doubled. @AshtonYbarra13 had a couple of knocks. @MaxWoohoo and Newby each singled to help get the Dragons on the board in the 2nd.

Carroll picked up their 30th win of the season and advance to the region finals for the first time since 2022. They will play the winner of the Marcus vs. Byron Nelson series; stay tuned for details.

Carroll takes game one of the Region Semi-Finals, defeating Denton Guyer 4-2 at Dragon Ballpark in front of a packed home crowd.

Senior LHP @JFullerLefty9 got the W, his 3rd of the playoffs, going 6 IP, 2 H, 2 R (1 earned), 7 K's on a 101 pitch night (67% strikes). @DavisPerkins_ secured the victory by striking out the side in the 7th for the Save. The Wildcats came in averaging 10 runs/game in the playoffs, but could muster just two hits against Dragon pitching.

Offensively, Carroll manufactured 3 runs in the 2nd inning on a HBP by Perkins, sac bunts by Fuller and @CSommerbaseball, and singles by @MaxWoohoo, @EvanRobson2025, and @cd33lefty (2 RBI's). The Dragons added an insurance run in the 5th on a leadoff triple by @RaisedNBaseball and an RBI knock by Perkins.

The two teams will meet again Friday night at Guyer. First pitch at 7:00 p.m.

🏆⚾️ AREA CHAMPS!! ⚾️🏆

For the second straight game, Dragon pitchers threw a shutout as Carroll defeated Frenship 5-0 to advance to the regional semi-finals of the 6A-D2 playoffs.

This time it was @ethanbaiotto on the bump. The senior RHP gave up just 1-hit (a swinging bunt in the 6th that was erased by a 4-6-3 double play) for the W. Baiotto went 6 IP, 4 BB, 3 K's. @RaisedNBaseball struck out 4 batters 👀in the 7th (dropped 3rd strike) to complete the shutout and secure the sweep.

@AshtonYbarra13 had a 3-for-3 day, with an RBI and 2 runs scored. @CSommerbaseball collected a pair of hits.

Carroll took a 1-0 lead in the 4th when @maxwoohoo knocked in Ybarra on a ground ball that the Tiger SS couldn't handle, and added four insurance runs in the 6th as Carson had a clutch triple to lead off the inning, Ybarra drove him home on an RBI single, @DavisPerkins_ and @JFullerLefty9 executed back to back bunts, and @EvanRobson2025 drew a bases loaded walk.

In the regional semis, the Dragons will face Denton Guyer, who eliminated Rock Hill and J.J. Pearce in the first two rounds. Stay tuned for more details.

@JFullerLefty9 drove in a pair of runs with a single in the 1st and @RaisedNBaseball doubled in the 2nd to drive in two more, propelling Carroll to a 4-2 victory over Weatherford.

Starting pitcher @ethanbaiotto scattered 6 hits over 6 innings, allowing 2 runs and striking out 6. Carson struck out 2 in the 7th for the Save.

@MaxWoohoo had a pair of knocks. @CooperNewby44 singled and made a tremendous play to tag a runner at the plate on a outfield assist from @AshtonYbarra13.

Carroll moves on to the Area Round and will face @FrenshipBSBL, who swept El Paso Eastwood to advance.

Dragons score in every inning, collect 6 XBH's, and beat Trinity 14-1 in a 5-inning contest.

@Jakeshannon28 drove in 4 with a double and a 💣on a 3-for-4 night. @AshtonYbarra13 had a leadoff 💣in the 1st, drove in 3, and scored twice. @RaisedNBaseball led off the 5th with a 💣and also tripled.

Starter @MaxWoohoo earned a complete game W on a windy night, giving up just 4 hits in 5 IP, and punching out 9 (72% strikes).

The two teams will meet again Friday at Dragon Ballpark.

Carroll opens district play with a 4-0 victory over Byron Nelson. An RBI double by @AshtonYbarra13 in the 3rd and a two-run 3B by @cd33lefty in the 4th paced the offense.

Dragon starter @JFullerLefty9 threw 5 2/3 scoreless giving up just two singles and punching out 5 for the W. @MaxWoohoo and @RaisedNBaseball got the final 4 outs to secure the victory.

The two teams will meet again Friday night at Byron.

🚨👀🚨👀Freshman @cd33lefty pitched a gem to lead Carroll to a 2-0 victory over Sachse. In 5 innings of work, Dean allowed only 2 baserunners, on an infield single and an error, and struck out 10 Mustang hitters, including 8 consecutive!

@jacksonhaase11 and @DavisPerkins_ (save) closed it out. Dragon pitchers struck out every Sachse batter at least once.

Carroll's offense was held mostly in check; a double by @EvanRobson2025 and a ground out by @JFullerLefty9 drove in the lone runs in the pivotal 4th inning. Which proved to be enough to support Dean's spectacular outing as he earned his first varsity W.

@MaxWoohoo hit a grand slam in the 2nd and that was all the offense the Dragons would need as they beat Little Elm 9-1 on the mercy rule. Wu also singled and doubled, finishing a triple shy of the cycle.

@JFullerLefty9 scattered 5 singles (3 infield hits) and picked off 3 baserunners, allowing 1 unearned run in the complete game victory.

@AshtonYbarra13 collected 2 hits, including another walk-off . @CSommerbaseball and @cd33lefty also had multi-hit games.
