Go back in history, every person who has a name and honor in the Somali community or Somali speaking people is from the Republic of Somaliland This land is a blessed land
Recognizing Somaliland isn’t charity — it’s strategy. It aligns with America’s security interests and the “America First” doctrine by strengthening an ally that shares our values in a region vital to global trade and counterterrorism.

Somaliland: The Strategic Gateway the World Can No Longer Ignore
At the crossroads of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia lies a stable, democratic, and strategically vital nation overlooking the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden — #Somaliland.
For over three decades, Somaliland has maintained peace, built democratic institutions, and safeguarded one of the world’s most important maritime corridors, through which over 12% of global trade passes.
With Israel’s historic recognition, the global conversation has shifted. The question is no longer whether Somaliland will be recognized — but who will lead next.
🇺🇸 For the United States, Somaliland offers:
A reliable democratic partner in a volatile region
Strategic access to the Red Sea
A counterbalance to instability and unchecked Chinese expansion
🇮🇳 For #India, Somaliland represents:
A natural Indo-Pacific partner
Secure maritime cooperation
A stable gateway to African markets and energy diversification
Recognition is not charity. It is strategy.
The gateway is open. History rewards those who act early.

It gets even better: It is reported he got into the #USA🇺🇸 with a false asylum claim of being a victim of the #IsaaqGenocide in #Somaliland that he now denies happened AND, to top it all, this month the rump #Somalia🇸🇴 failed state is president of the #UN🇺🇳 Security Council! 😵💫
For anyone who forgot, this is what the African Union itself determined regarding Somaliland:
“The fact that the union between Somaliland and Somalia was never ratified and also malfunctioned when it went into action from 1960 to 1990, makes Somaliland's search for recognition historically unique and self-justified in African political history.”
He was even among those who entered the USA claiming to be survivors of the Hargeisa massacre and then denied isaaq genocide @AbukarOsman1 Hypocrites of the year, you can never hide from the truth

Reports claiming that Israeli journalists were required to obtain visas from #Somalia in order to travel to Hargeisa following Israel’s recognition of #Somaliland are false and misleading.
Israeli and international journalists are already present in Hargeisa, including Journalist @yonatanraveh11 of @i24NEWS_HE , who is broadcasting live from Somaliland.
All journalists entered legally and without obstruction under Somaliland’s own visa and immigration system, which has operated independently for more than three decades.
Somaliland controls its borders, entry procedures, security, and immigration, and entry into Somaliland does not require a visa issued by Somalia.
The claim attributed to @ragipsoylu in Ankara appears to be based on political assumptions and does not reflect the reality on the ground.
Somaliland government confirmed that international media access remains open, regulated, and uninterrupted, and that foreign journalists continue to arrive through Somaliland’s established legal channels.
The witness is the last stage of genocide is deniald because the genocide isn't something that happened accidentally it has stages and every stage has time to do by genociders
Acknowledged at Home, Denied at the UN: #Somalia’s #Somaliland Genocide Contradiction
Somalia’s president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has acknowledged and publicly apologized for the genocide committed against the people of Somaliland by the Siad Barre regime, a position that sharply contrasts with statements made by Somalia’s envoy at the United Nations.
During yesterday’s UN Security Council meeting, Somalia’s ambassador to the UN, Abukar Balle, denied that genocide, triggering criticism from survivors, civil society groups, and observers who say the atrocities are extensively documented through eyewitness testimony, mass graves, and international human rights reports.
The contradiction between the Somali president’s acknowledgment and the UN envoy’s denial has reignited debate over historical accountability, truth, and justice for crimes committed in the late 1980s, when Somaliland cities including Hargeisa and Burao were subjected to large-scale destruction, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians.
Somaliland restored its sovereignty in 1991 and has since maintained its own governing institutions, security forces, and democratic processes.

The use of terrorism as a means to achieve political objectives remains an ugly and deeply entrenched reality that continues to prevail among the populace of war-torn Somalia.
34 years ago during Somalia's occupation on the Republic of Somaliland, around 150K of our civilian people were brutally massacred. Some of them were air-bombarded as they were fleeing to cross border to Ethiopia's refugee camps. Entire cities were reduced to rubble using indiscriminate shelling. All of these war crimes were carried out by the Barre military regime through its state-sponsored genocide. Today, the same criminals chant jihadist slogans to carry out terror attacks against the Republic of Somaliland. Tragically, this is the reality the people of Somaliland have been forced to endure for the past 65 years.
This time, however, the existence of the Republic of Somaliland stands as an effective barrier to prevent that history from repeating itself.
Let the world me hear out: the Republic of Somaliland and its people do not, under any circumstances or in any form, condone such an evil ideology. Their wild behaviour only serves as yet another hallmark of the stark contrast between the crumbled state of Somalia and the civil Republic of Somaliland.
Dhamaan Somalilanders ka igu xidhanoow, warqdan Dunida gaadhsiiya oo marqudha wada Share dhaha si loo fahmo in aan Jamhuuriyadda Somaliland Dal Cusub ahayn.
This is a historic moment as we warmly welcome @netanyahu the Prime Minister of the State of Israel’s recognition of the Republic of Somaliland and affirm Somaliland’s readiness to join the Abraham Accords. This step marks the beginning of a strategic partnership that advances mutual interests, strengthens regional peace and security, and delivers shared benefits to all stakeholders, without prejudice to any party.
I was glad to speak just now with the President of Somaliland Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, on this important day for both countries.
Over the past year, based on an extensive and ongoing dialogue, relations between Israel and Somaliland have taken shape. Following the decision of @IsraeliPM Benjamin Netanyahu and the President of Somaliland Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, today we signed an agreement on mutual recognition and the establishment of full diplomatic relations, which will include the appointment of ambassadors and the opening of embassies.
We will work together to promote the relations between our countries and nations, regional stability and economic prosperity. I have instructed my ministry to act immediately to institutionalize ties between the two countries across a wide range of fields.
The Prime Minister invited the President to pay an official visit to Israel.
The President thanked Prime Minister Netanyahu for his historic declaration and expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s achievements in fighting terrorism and advancing regional peace.
