$JASMY isn’t “compatible” with Japan’s My Number system.
It’s already part of the bureaucracy. 🇯🇵
This matters more than most people realize.
• Jasmy isn’t just aligned with My Number
• It’s used inside Japan’s administrative systems
• Covering services citizens use every day
• Documented directly by the Digital Agency of Japan
Put simply:
This is not a pilot.
This is policy-driven deployment.
⸻
🔹 Why this adoption is different
1️⃣ Adoption level = state-mandated
This is not:
• corporate PoC
• sandbox testing
• PR demo
This is:
• public services
• municipal rollout
• citizen authentication
Citizens don’t choose whether to use it.
The system must support it.
⸻
2️⃣ Why Jasmy is in this position
Because it meets what Japan actually requires:
• ✅ Compliance (law, privacy, identity)
• ✅ Consortium-friendly architecture
• ✅ Infrastructure mindset (no TPS flex, no meme narrative)
Japan doesn’t adopt chains that are:
• fully permissionless without controls
• governance-fragile
• data-leak risks
⸻
3️⃣ Why $JASMY doesn’t move like a hype token
Because this adoption is:
• quiet
• incentive-free
• bot-free
But the result is:
• real usage
• system-level embedding
• extremely hard to unwind
This is an infrastructure adoption curve,
not a typical crypto cycle.
⸻
4️⃣ Why gas token design matters here
When:
• identity
• public services
• citizen portals
move on-chain →
👉 gas token = cost of operation
👉 $JASMY becomes non-optional
That’s why builders say:
“Custom gas creates economic gravity.”
⸻
🧠 Final takeaway (no hype)
• Jasmy is playing the state infrastructure game
• Slow to surface, hard to remove
• Not a chart-driven token
• But infrastructure waiting for market recognition

📺 Kazumasa Sato, CEO: Rethinking the Internet with #JASMY After the Failure of the Global Network.
I left Sony in 2010, and then the earthquake occurred in 2011. At that time, I must admit although it may sound a bit blunt that I felt the network was failing. I had been involved for many years with So-net and Sony’s internet-related businesses.
I was also engaged in a joint venture with NTT called Plala. What was unfolding then was very different from the networked society I had envisioned. I was a strong advocate of internet progress, believing that the internet would connect people around the world and allow anyone to communicate with anyone else. I thought extraordinary things would happen, but in reality, defamation and similar issues began to emerge.
Yes, those kinds of problems, along with impersonation, became widespread. What truly shocked me though I need to be careful how I say this is that I would rather not mention the company’s name, but if I did, I think most people would understand. The communication tools on the internet, and the companies behind them, experienced tremendous growth.
Everyone started using them. It is an application that still exists on smartphones today. On the iPhone, there is a platform called the App Store, and at the time, I was waiting for someone there to address these issues. Back then, authentication was still extremely lax.
Because authentication was so weak, communication could take place solely through IT. I still remember an example where someone claimed, “I am a high school girl from Hiroshima,” and that identity was officially accepted on the App Store. Of course, such things no longer happen today, but we realized at the time that this situation was unacceptable.
In 2011, I was working at a completely different company specifically Uniqlo where I was involved in advertising. It was there that I realized a society very different from the ideal networked society I had imagined was emerging. Looking back now, that was when I began to conceive a new approach to networking.
From that point until what I am trying to achieve today with #JASMY, there has always been something I want to pursue. Somewhere within me, there is a strong desire to contribute. In fact, that may be the true driving force behind everything I do.
