@Scholars_Stage Flash cards aren’t very useful for this type of knowledge, especially for the generalist. These are necessarily big mental structures and they require writing to interact with. It would be like studying literature by memorizing minor characters in Anna Karenina.
@Scholars_Stage Be less intimidated! Calculation is much like proofs. You get good by writing lots of them. Every proof shown in a good textbook has either a result or a proof technique that will be useful. Make a intelligible list of results, and notes on techniques. A good textbook is key. 1/n
if birthright citizenship didn't yet exist and someone proposed it you would think they were crazy. sort of thing that made sense when frontiersmen were building nations in north and south america. but there's a reason this doesn't exist in europe, africa, or asia.
