We must do more to Raise Wages! Join the conversation with us and help generate more strategies to put more money in workers' paychecks! https://t.co/OgfKEBKycN
So proud of this new report: Heat protections save lives but corporate greed stands in the way - we must take action to protect workers from Extreme Heat!
NEW: UPS & Amazon have been cited for 100s of safety heat-related violations — with fines exceeding $2M.
These companies would rather spend millions fighting safety rules than spend far less implementing them.
Meanwhile workers are dying in their trucks & on their worksites.
Kevin O'Leary's massive data center was approved by a county commission in Utah last night.
At 40,000 acres, it would be 2.5x the size of Manhattan.
The commission approved the proposal despite opposition from hundreds of locals.
This week, we get to find out if Colorado Senate Democrats mean what they say.
Almost every Democrat is talking about taking on corporations and billionaires. Fine. But there's a bill on the floor right now that bans corporations from using AI to spy on you to charge you the most you'll pay in prices and pay you the least you'll accept in wages, the algorithmic theft rampant across our economy. And corporate special interests are pushing to kill it.
Talk is cheap. Votes aren't.
Tell your state senator: pass HB 26-1210.
Our members are up before sunrise, doing their jobs. The administration is playing games with their livelihoods.
Naming rights don’t build tunnels. #Union labor does!
Release the #Gateway funding. Put workers first!

We marched in the freezing cold today because young workers refuse to accept a rigged economy. Rent is out of control. Child care is unaffordable. Student debt is endless. Young workers with @AFGENational and all our unions are organizing for a future they can actually thrive in.
What should alarm us about the Epstein files isn’t just the appalling details.
It is the degree to which enormously wealthy and powerful people live by their own rules — and continue to get away with it.
It’s a club where the rules and the law don't apply. And you’re not in it.
A UAE investor secretly gave Trump $187 million and his top Middle East envoy $31 million. And then Trump gave that investor access to sensitive defense technology that broke decades of national security precedent.
Brazen, open corruption. And we shouldn't pretend it's normal.
“Productivity creates extra money, where is it going? You’re suppose to give some to the workers.”
Hard work goes in, low pay comes out. Of course we want to be more productive but we also need to be properly compensated for the heavy productivity. If we come together, nothing can stand in our way of that!

In the 20s, breaking into the electrical industry wasn’t easier for Black Americans. But Sam Taylor did it
In 1922, he founded Taylor Electric—the first Black-owned construction company in Chicago and now one of the oldest IBEW signatory contractors nationwide.

It could cost the U.S. $700 BILLION to buy Greenland, but there was apparently no money to keep Americans’ health care costs from skyrocketing.
How about instead of picking fights with our allies, the president lowers costs for people here in America?
The idea that we’re going to ruin our long standing alliances and waste billions of dollars to buy Greenland while our own people can’t afford health care or groceries is maybe the dumbest thing a president has done in the history of this country.
How could anybody - democrat, republican or independent - think that this looks normal? Images like these will be held up to future generations as an example of an authoritarian period in our history and it will be a shameful one. Deeply shameful. Video credit to Status Coup.
Reminder: Senate Republicans BLOCKED an extension of the ACA tax credits (again) and are letting YOUR health care premiums skyrocket.
And Trump's sorry excuse for a "plan" isn't going to change that.
If Trump seizes Greenland from Denmark, does that mean that all Americans will be entitled to:
Free healthcare with no deductibles?
A free college education?
52 weeks of paid parental leave?
5 weeks of paid vacation?
Because that’s what everyone in Denmark and Greenland has.
