There’s nothing like a man’s pride
Life is not fair
It’s something we have all heard at least once in our lives, but it’s the truth. You can do everything right and still fail. It’s the cruelest game of chance you will ever encounter.
But that’s why it’s up to us to preserve, adapt, and make the change ourselves
And that’s what these two men did
Two talented wrestlers
Involved in respected midcard programs, performed at a high level only to be pushed aside when someone more favored came along. Then they found themselves under masks, working a comedy gimmick to dead silence, with seemingly no way up
But what they did in response was special
They didn’t sulk. They didn’t try to walk out. They didn’t complain about the position they were in. They pushed to turn this seemingly filler comedy gimmick into the biggest feud in wrestling. They got the people of Mexico to buy into them and positioned themselves as the top heel and face of AAA
Two special wrestlers
Who once came out to dead noise under masks were now shaking the arena the moment they entered the room
Then, when it was time to deliver, they produced one of the best matches of the year. They made something so authentic and special that it felt like a separate entity from the company they wrestle in
It was emotional
It was chaotic
It was gritty
Professional wrestling in all its simplicity. And it was beautiful
Two masked men
Fueled by pride, made something out of nothing through sheer willpower. And when they both struggled to hold back tears, covered in blood, as the crowd showered them with love
Chad Gable,
You are a special professional wrestler
And I hope the suits upstairs finally realize that after tonight
El Grande Americano,
I will not call you by another name
Because this is who you are now
You worked hard to make it a name of honor rather than a name of mockery
And this summer, hopefully I can call you champion too
Congratulations on the fiver, boys 🍻
@ThalionFTW@Netherkast What's amazing and insane is that all of those events would have destroyed a character or story. And somehow it builded this into almost like a movie. What a story and what an incredible match.
WWE doesn't suck, it PEAKED.
WrestleMania 17 and WrestleMania 40 are eerily similar.
WM 17:
- one of the BEST shows EVER!
- considered the END of the Attitude Era.
-end of the 4 year-long Austin-McMahon angle
-WWE PEAKED and never reached that high again.
WM 40:
-also one of the best shows EVER!
-may be the end of the Renaissance Era
-end of the 4 year long Bloodline Angle
-WWE PEAKED and never reached that high again.
The long-term angles that defined the two BOOM PERIODS reached a CLIMAX. Austin turned heel and Cody Finished the story.
Maybe the problem isn’t that WWE suddenly became bad afterward. Maybe sustaining a historic peak is almost impossible.
3 years ago today on Dynamite, Christian Cage cut one of the most scathing and ruthless promos of his AEW run against Wardlow and Arn Anderson.
The nuclear heat Christian got here from the Detroit crowd was insane.
LEFT-HANDED PEOPLE:
1. Only 10% of the world is left-handed, and nobody fully knows why.
2. Left-handers process language in both brain hemispheres, not just one.
3. They are statistically more likely to become artists, musicians and architects.
4. Left-handed people reach anger faster but also recover from it quicker.
5. Studies show they are better at multitasking than right-handed people.
6. Most left-handers subconsciously hide their dominant hand in social settings.
7. They are overrepresented among geniuses,Einstein, Tesla, Da Vinci were all left-handed.
8. Left-handed people dream more vividly and remember dreams more clearly.
9. They are more likely to suffer insomnia and sleep disorders.
10. The world is literally built against them, scissors, desks, keyboards were all designed for the right hand.
11. Left-handed people are more likely to be affected by fear and anxiety due to how their brain processes negative emotions.
12. Ancient cultures considered left-handedness a sign of supernatural power and witchcraft.
Bloodline entrance : Survivor Series 2022
Roman, Usos, Sami, and Paul Heyman all together
Samantha’s chilling introduction
Roman Reigns Aura farming with that entrance
PEAK Bloodline man
Why #thewyattsicks mattered and/or its unseen potential…
Re-centered wrestling around character and atmosphere, not just in ring performance
Extended Bray Wyatt’s legacy of layered, psychological storytelling
Used mystery and symbolism to engage the audience actively
Proved slow burn narratives can work in modern WWE
Blended horror elements with wrestling in a more grounded, cinematic way
Created a distinct visual and tonal identity that stood apart from the roster
Elevated faction unity over individual spotlight
Opened space for performers driven by presence and character work
Showed that less screen time can increase perceived importance
Encouraged fan interpretation instead of over-explaining storylines
Demonstrated the value of long-term creative commitment
Is an example of unrealized potential due to early cancellation
Obviously I loved this faction and what it represented and what it could have continued to contribute…
