So, I started Breaking Bad again. It's one of my favorite shows ever, but I haven't touched it since the show ended.

I'm halfway through season 1, and I am struck by how avoidable the events of the show were. Walter had every oppurtunity to manage his shit and didn't. Thread.

@inkarnaterpg How did you get such tiny islands for those archipelagos? When I am building a world map, the smallest islands I can get are still pretty big.

@BrettUltimus It's on average a +/-4, but also doubles/halves the rate of crits.

It's a powerful mechanic. I do wish there was more guidance for more granular bonuses a la cover (or 3.5e, I suppose).

Familiars giving advantage on everything feels pretty cheesy to me though.

@GabeJamesGames Oh. I am taking this idea. Dragons are one of the two major factions in my setting, and a planar tear opening wide to knock dragons off the top of the food chain is too dramatic to pass up.
