This is an essential feature- to regulate abusive comments. I find this most impressive, because often we glorify the pros of social media so much we forget about the dangers! One most concerning is cyberbullying and hate.

@AshleyJOUR I think that Facebook is putting all of its efforts to stay around. It is falling juristically, and this their way of fighting the fall; telling us that change and improvements are on the way.
@alexandramona1 I agree completely! I like to look through older tweets for a good laugh too, but sometimes it gets difficult if the tweets are from really long time ago. This feature should make my experience easier and therefore more enjoyable.
@JOUR140sophia i was wondering what these are1! I have been seeing this constantly on my Instagram. Now that I think of it, these stickers are doing exactly what was intended for them; to eecouage and raise engagements of users. I can personally vouch that they have!
@yen010123@NBCNews This is interesting to me, because I find it very surprising that such a young group is the target for Facebook. It is a platform more commonly used by middle-aged adults. But hey, maybe this is Facebook's way to staying modern and relevant.

Facebook has released the "new" Facebook Reels feature. I say "new" because reels have been a feature on Instagram for a long time now. It is also one of the most inviting features of Instagram. Will this cause a spike in competition?
@lynettehaggins I agree, it makes sense to me because even those who are doing positive and encouraging things, through social media, get grief from people who disagree with their movements too. The thing is that there will always be someone who disagrees.
@cmlleannee I think this is a fantastic idea! With time our nation has developed enough to realize that there is not one religion humans put their faith in, and our advancing society should take actions like this that welcome ALL religions.
@yen010123@verge I read about this too! This is interesting because I actually think Facebook has survived longer than I expected. My roommates all have a Facebook, but I do not so Facebook is definitely still hanging on, so it has a chance with a rebuild.
@amyjour104 I agree, eating disorders are very unrecognized and call for much more awareness. Social media definitely contributes to the way we view and feel about our bodies, so this is exciting and development encouraging!
Wow, Instagram is actually in fear of losing their teenager users! Initially, I find this shocking, but once I think about the biggest plausible threat, it all makes sense. We all know who that is; Tiktok!

@alexandramona1 I, personally, do not have the Tiktok app, but I do watch them via Instagram. Although, I do know the negative affects it can have on their users ; addiction and cyber bullying being a few. Experts acknowledging the responsibility is a milestone!
@amyjour104 I really like this article, unlike most others it gives a grey-area perspective on social media. Every person is unique, in the sense of social media habits. There are different ways people use them and different habits developed by each user. This article recognizes that!
@yen010123 This actually such a relief, in a way. Sometimes I think my wifi is not working, but actually it is just Instagram that is dealing with technical issues. It is a useful tool because now Instagram users will know what is going on for sure.
@cmlleannee This feature is amazing and tells us that the Twitter platform is actually paying attention to the consequences social media has, one being the spreading of fake news. I too, hope that other social media apps jump on thus wagon!
@cmlleannee I love this for the community. For one, it tells us that platforms are becoming more aware of the affects of social media. Hopefully, this helps to regulate harmful affects such as, body image issues and cyber bullying!
@alexandramona1 I think that hyperbole was being used to make his point, because comparing the toxicity of social media to cars is a wide ranged comparison. In the slightest way I can see how they are similar, but not enough to understand a genuine relationship between them.
@yen010123@TechCrunch I think this feature is going to lead to an increase in users and usage. It's a shortcut that makes things easier for its users, seems like thats always a win. Personally, I'm excited for the change.
