We Taiwanese Chinese are PRAGMATIC. That’s why new polls show the majority of Taiwanese prefer the status quo. No unification. Also no SEPARATISM, the part Western Media strategically leaves out. Strategery ala Bush Jr.

We 🇹🇼 are in favour of status quo because we want stability and prosperity. We try to get benefits from both China Mainland and USA.
Given current trends. Most Westerners and deceived and do not understand the benefits Mainland gives to Taiwan (ECFA).

This argument that the PRC has never ruled Taiwan is child’s play. The PRC and ROC knew full well they were both fighting for control of all of China. The ROC has survived only because of external interference.

Taiwan is growing closer to Beijing’s influence and is warming up again to the FACT that we are all Chinese ethnically, culturally, and spiritually. Given current global trends, I predict peaceful reunification post 2035.

@hashimoto_lo 高市首相を支持していないからといって、対中・対韓・対露の姿勢を理由に批判している、というのは少し違うと思います。
立場が変われば、考え方もそれなりに変わるものです。それを『進歩』とも言えるのではないでしょうか。20年前と同じ考えを持ち続けている人こそ、進歩がないと思います。
