Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), #NHPC met Shri Tashi Gyalson, Hon’ble Chief Executive Councillor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh on 18.08.2025. During the meeting, Shri Lal briefed him about NHPC’s flagship CSR initiative Shiksha Rath 7.0, aimed at the holistic development of seven border villages of Ladakh through focused interventions in education, healthcare, skill development and sustainable livelihoods which has been successfully completed in Turtuk on 17.08.2025.

Shri Uttam Lal also highlighted the strategic importance of NHPC’s operational power stations viz Nimmo Bazgo (45 MW) and Chutak (44 MW) in ensuring reliable power supply and supporting the overall development of Ladakh. Shri Tashi Gyalson lauded NHPC’s efforts and appreciated its commitment towards the overall development of the region.
