Being stealth is soon to be illegal. It’s shouldn’t be
Many trans people, including myself, had long assumed there was a right to discretion about who and when to reveal details of our past, and many of us relied on this discretion to live our best integrated lives
Everyone should have the right to be private about their past in most areas of the public sphere. The number of situations where a trans persons past is relevant is very small.
Most of us will not seek to play elite sports. Most of us will not be imprisoned. Most of us will not hold jobs where this aspect of our past is even remotely relevant.
Forcing TRANS kids to wait with HRT is worse than having a kid detransition.
There is more harm done by not allowing a kid who is questioning their gender identity to not explore themselves and get the treatment recommended by experts.

@Miab_ranboo@Glinner@terrafically As a trans woman, this is more or less what all of my cis women friends have said to men who butt in. That and most guys don’t care about women’s sports until trans women come up
@terrafically My transition goal has always been to look like a girl in men’s clothes, I only ever do eyeliner, and most days I just wear a hoodie and jeans, and yet I still mostly pass
@eeevuhhhh@BimboNihilism Knives are only good if youre well trained in hand to hand combat, and quite frankly, most people aren't trained in such.
I'd genuinely rather have a piece of pvc pipe or even better a rock
@MoiraDonegan Futch is moreso considered a style, like tomboy femme, but I agree, It doesn't matter if you identify as one of these things, I'll respect it and I dont understand people who get mad over these kinds of things
