NEW: MSNBC's Jen Psaki does a deep dive into leadership issues surrounding the California fires, finds that Elon Musk and Donald Trump are largely to blame.

Great work, Jen!

Musk, who left California years ago, and Trump, who has condemned CA leadership for years, are the real ones who should be criticized for their "misinformation," according to Psaki.

The misinformation host accused the two men of spreading "misinformation" as she tried her best to defend California's liberal leadership.

They never learn, folks.

JUST IN: The DC-10 tanker has dropped about 10,000 gallons of fire retardant to slow the fire in Brentwood.

The move was made after there was a "significant" flare-up last night regarding the Palisades fire.

The DC-10 was manufactured by McDonnell Douglas and is somewhat comparable to the Boeing 747 but is able to use shorter runways.

The Palisades Fire grew by 1,000 acres overnight.
