Our wonderful residents all pulled together today to line the grounds of our VFW/American Legion after the members requested a little help. They got a lot of help. It was truly beautiful.

🚨BREAKING: Sen. Kennedy’s bill just moved forward, and it hits Congress where it hurts: NO paycheck for senators during a shutdown.
If they can’t keep the government open, why should taxpayers keep paying them?
Do you firmly support this?
A. Huge Yes B. No
This is the time of year that makes me happiest.
Watching beauty and life emerge from cold, dark lifeless areas does something to me.
There is only a short period of time when cherry blossoms bloom and look this beautiful.
Take a few minutes to drive or walk past.
This area was another of the targeted Beautification zones in my program.
There is always more beautification to come.

Our latest efforts to not only restore our rich history, but to give our residents and our visitors an opportunity to glimpse into the past.
Councilman Kirk DelRusso and I have been working on this project for quite some time and along with the North Arlington Historical Society, we are quite satisfied with the results.
These are the first four of several more Historical Markers denoting places worthy of mention throughout North Arlington, over the years.
We found it obvious and fitting to recognize our Schuyler Copper Mines, and the very first use of power, by means of a Steam Engine in the United States.
In addition, we honored two long standing landmarks:
First, the Hervey Parker Mansion, which at one time faced the Passaic River and encompassed a large portion of the western slope of North Arlington.
And Second, Eckardt Farm, which proudly sat at the bottom of Noel Drive along Schuyler Ave.
I look forward to our future markers and to know that these will not only help to educate our residents, but they will provide an opportunity to preserve our proud history.

I am proud to announce that I have accepted my party’s nomination to seek a third term as Mayor of this great Borough.
Over the last eight years, working alongside the Borough Council, our dedicated staff, and most importantly, “YOU”, the people of our community, we have turned North Arlington around.
When I first ran for Council in 2013, our borough faced a depleted business district and a struggling financial outlook. Today, through rounds of smart redevelopment, keen management, and a clear vision, North Arlington is a destination.
A Record of Results
We haven't just identified problems; we’ve delivered solutions:
• Recreation & Families: We’ve modernized our youth sports facilities with turf and lighted fields, implemented our annual Celebrate North Arlington Festival, added adult recreational programs, and transformed our parks and walking paths into celebrated community hubs.
• Public Safety:
We have increased the number of Police Officers protecting our community. We upgraded much of our Fire Safety and Public Works equipment. We implemented numerous traffic-calming devices and all-way stops to make our roadways safer for every family.
• Seniors & Veterans:
From the new Senior Citizen Shuttle and the Senior Prom to the landmark construction of our Senior/Veterans Housing project, we are taking care of those who built this community.
• Beautification & Culture:
The Passaic Riverwalk, our new decorative fountain, and the Mayor’s Beautification Program have revitalized our quality of life, bringing art, curbside dining, and new businesses to our lively main streets.
• Smart Growth & Fiscal Responsibility:
We have kept municipal taxes at an all-time low by promoting smart redevelopment, particularly in our industrial areas. By reinventing stagnant properties, we have strengthened our tax base without sacrificing our small-town feel. We’ve mandated more parking and less density for all new projects, and our new Parking Advisory Committee ensures that residents have a direct seat at the table.
• The Path Forward:
While we have achieved so much, the job isn't finished. I am seeking one more term to see our current projects through to completion and to address the new challenges of a growing Borough.
With the right team and a proven track record of managing budgets and revitalizing neighborhoods, I am ready to keep North Arlington moving forward.
I look forward to the work ahead and to continuing our journey of making this the best place to call home.
