Both Senators Cortez Masto and Warnock deliberately chose cheaper (and far inferior) HMO plans in their comparisons because they wanted to hide how expensive "good" and useful Obamacare plans were even with the Biden-era subsidies. This is an HMO with a $5500 deductible! Not useful! She's also using someone who is likely around 35 years old with just a $40,000 income.

I checked this already on the Nevada healthcare exchange. An actual useful healthcare plan for a 35-year-old in Vegas making $40,000 a year would be $522.64 pre-subsidy and $314.64 post subsidy. That is a heckuva a lot to pay! Would've been under $100 with a much smaller deductible with no subsidies before Obamacare implementation. And yes, because the Democrats deliberately decided to create this "crisis" by having the Biden-era subsidies (which raised costs overall, as all subsidies do) expire in 2025, the unsubsidized cost for this plan would be $694. Providers started jacking up costs once the subsidies began to flow, and insurers are still catching up.

The problem for Republicans, of course, is who is going to buy this insurance? Not an illegal or any noncitizen. They're going to get Medicaid or just flood the emergency rooms. The people who are "forced" to buy these plans are citizens who own very small businesses or are freelancers.....and they are Republican voters.
