Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (1974). Screenwriting legend Brian Clemens gets to direct for Hammer, and it's a cracker!

Horst Janson is the swashbuckling Captain Kronos, hunting a vampire that drains people of their youth. Helped by Professor Hieronymus Grost (John Cater) and rescued gypsy girl Carla (Caroline Munro) they scour the land for their cunning foe, only to discover it may be closer than they expected.

Lots of swordplay, as well as vampiric shenanigans and a crisp script makes this a really entertaining watch. It's a shame it never became its own series.
