I strongly oppose lowering income eligibility for direct payments from $75,000 to $50,000 for individuals and $150,000 to $100,000 for couples. In these difficult times, ALL working class people deserve the full $1,400. Last I heard, someone making $55,000 a year is not "rich."
A PSA from York County on behalf of @VoteYorkPA: The perceived Sharpie “bleed through” does not invalidate ballots. The ballots are designed to handle that. Sharpies are used because they dry quickly.
"We owe a debt to those who labored anonymously, in brutal circumstances and without compensation; and we repay them in part by remembering their struggles for a future they would never see." Dr. Jonathan Holloway @RutgersU (July 1) #JUNETEENTH2020 https://t.co/SrR9315LLX
For white leaders committed to anti-racism - humility, a willingness to listen and learn, and engaging in action are critical - Looking forward to learning from others about important approaches to this work #RacismEndsHere#RacismEndsHere
Juneteenth has never been a celebration of victory, or an acceptance of the way things are. It's a celebration of progress. It's an affirmation that despite the most painful parts of our history, change is possible––and there is still so much work to do.
