ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿರುವ Digital Divide ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು Bridge Course ನಡೆಸಿ ಅವರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಮಟ್ಟ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.

ಆದರೆ ಬೇಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತನ್ನ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನ ಸರಿಯಾದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸದೇ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜೀವ & ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಜೊತೆ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಖಂಡನೀಯ.

ಯಾವುದೇ‌ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಹಕ್ಕು.

ಆದರೆ, ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅನೇಕ ಬಡ & ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಲ್ಯಾಪ್ ಟಾಪ್, ಇಂಟರ್ ನೆಟ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದ ಕೊರತೆಗಳಿಂದ Digital Divide ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಮಟ್ಟ ಇಳಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಗತ್ಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಬಹುಪಾಲು ಜನರಿಗೆ
ಇನ್ನೂ 1ನೇ ಡೋಸ್ ಕೂಡಾ ದೊರೆತಿಲ್ಲ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಷೇಶ ಲಸಿಕಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿ ಲಸಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲಾ.

ಕರೋನಾ 3ನೇ ಅಲೆ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಬರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು IMA ಹೇಳಿರುವಾಗ, ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಲಸಿಕಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಚುರುಕು ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲಾ.

ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, UG, PG ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು VTUನ ಆತುರದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರದಿಂದ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವವನ್ನೇ ಪಣಕ್ಕಿಡುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 18 ವರ್ಷ ಮೀರಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ 2 ಡೋಸ್ ಲಸಿಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲಾ,

ಆದರೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಲು‌ ಮುಂದಾಗಿರುವುದು ವಿವೇಚನಾ ರಹಿತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ!
