Part of being a man entails the obligation to perform tasks, regardless of the emotions felt, or the absence of desire or motivation. A man must excel daily; otherwise, he resigns himself to mediocrity, leaving no lasting imprint on humanity.
Gaethje walkout is better than any tracking cam movie shots. No reshots. One take. Real time. Most badass shit I've ever seen. Documentary renegade live film making.
Yesterday I pulled up to Colombo in Lisbon at like 6 pm for the AP x Swatch Royal Pop drop.
I was around #78 in line… so I literally paid Uber Eats guys to hold my spot while I went home to sleep 😭
10am comes. Store opens. Chaos.
Only ~40 pieces available and suddenly Portugal’s “priority queue” law activated:
pregnant women
elderly people
parents with kids
random “injured” dudes appearing out of nowhere
A whole SECOND queue spawned and basically cleaned out the entire stock before the original line even moved.
End of the story, at least i bought it to someone paying 2x the price.
People are camping outside to get a hold of this. Actually super funny because the most they can get out of this is a dumb instagram story with a dumb quote. Monday they are back to 9-5 riding in the public transportation, compensating they spent half month salary on “status”.
as i get older i realize the biggest epidemic is dudes with no real identity
if running gets cool they become runners. if tattoos get cool they cover themselves in tattoos. if being sober trends they become born again monks, mullet, coffee snob, golfer, carnivore, cowboy, whatever the algorithm tells them
whole personality built out of social contagion
thats why these dudes get smoked at everything. everyone can smell the fraud
no weight behind anything they do because none of it came from their soul. just trend hopping
be something real even if its ugly
