Most impact: abused & neglected children, placed in foster care & the "separation is another form of trauma for children". #wow #5700reflect

[Missy Creech @Mbcreech_UNCP]

Another takeaway is that the number of unwanted children will decrease in the future! #thankful #5700reflect

[Missy Creech @Mbcreech_UNCP]

A takeaway is understanding "turfism". It has not been my imagination! I have hope that we can acknowledge it & move forward. #5700reflect

Twitter helped me the most in this course - reading, videos, learning to tweet and interacting with others - has been great! #5700reflect

@allidove93 Yes, I have! Adoption is common within my family. We're very open about it. No difference between birth and adopted family. #5700adopt

[Missy Creech @Mbcreech_UNCP]

@alexis_amc053 When people are open and honest about their struggles, we can all learn. #inspiration #5700adopt

[Missy Creech @Mbcreech_UNCP]

@drg5700sp17 Agree! #frustrated

[Missy Creech @Mbcreech_UNCP]

@alexis_amc053 Child welfare workers are overwhelmed, inadequately trained & are underpaid. Turnover rate is 70%. #childwelfarereform #5700fost

[Missy Creech @Mbcreech_UNCP]

@drg5700sp17 Very sad as "high caseloads and chronic understaffing" are serious concerns for social workers. The system is failing. #5700adopt
