Originally I did not like Twitter; however, now I love that it helped us all come together since we don't physically see/talk #5700reflect

I enjoyed the field trip because it made the class more interactive! I am a hands-on learner so the field trip helped me. #5700reflect

How can we educate parents on the importance of their children's lives? How can we as social workers help them understand? #5700reflect

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

My biggest takeaway was the realization of how important it is that we advocate for child because they are our future! #5700reflect

Has anyone had any experience working in a residential home with children? #5700res

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

@NadiiaPoliakova I almost got a job at a residential facility but when I observed, the staff members seemed very unethical. #5700res

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

@Mbcreech_UNCP That is awesome!! #5700adopt

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

Personally, I have strongly considered adopting a child in the future. Has anyone else? #5700adopt

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

I believe people that adopt are special people, especially if they are adopting a child that is not a relative. #5700adopt

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

@Mbcreech_UNCP @alexis_amc053 My boss just told me about this today! ❤️ #5700adopt

Check this out! Thought it was cool how it includes transracial adoption and same-sex parenting as well.

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

@troy_karin That is very true! The children go through so much trauma at such a young age. #5700fost

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

Has anyone had or have any biases about foster parents? Personally, I used to believe people did it for the money. #5700fost

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

Has anyone ever considered becoming a foster parent? #5700fost

[Allison Dove @allidove93]

@troy_karin very true! And as social workers it is our duty to advocate for our clients.
