A year after his children were murdered, he ran the Boston Marathon, donating all the funds to Boston Children's Hospital as they'd tried to save his son. He didn't put his own name on his bib- just his children's on his shirt.

He co-founded the HEARD Foundation, dedicated to providing support to parents struggling with mental illness.

HEARD Foundation, together with Where Angels Play, built a playground in his former neighborhood in honor of his children, for other children.

This man took incredible tragedy and loss, and created social good, helping others.

The internet can't stop trying to make him a villain with conspiracy theories and personal attacks.

@BridgetAyers I think she was suicidal and not experiencing psychosis. I'm seeing some signs of BPD and low attachment to her children. I think she intended to die and decided for whatever reason she should also take out her children. Very common with family annihilators

@BridgetAyers I find it really interesting how she was so reluctant to take medication except for the ones that are known to cause dependency, her interest in ketamine and her drinking. It stood out to me that she started seeing someone else as soon as Tufts reduced the Ativan

@BirdiesRants It's strange that her first psychosis symptom was a command hallucination that she felt she had to follow without any signs of executive dysfunction. Command hallucinations are dangerous but usually they have heard them for a while with signs of decompensation

Good reality TV is a recipe. It needs outrageousness, drama and a little toxicity. They work best when there are different personalities, villains and those who seem rationale. Sprinkle in fun and silly moments and you have gold. Please quit demanding the outrageous ones leave.

For 10 seasons we’ve watched him get blackout drunk, cheat on Amanda, and verbally abuse her. What’s actually crazy is that after 10 seasons, he’s shown virtually zero growth.

The Scamanda drama doesn’t magically turn him into a good guy. Amanda can be wrong and Kyle can still be an asshole. Both things can be true.
