Always dreaming big ✨️
This coming weekend , we are going back to harvest for the second time since last year. We are going to mount the hives on stands and add two more hives and catching boxes.
Excited to share that I recently earned a certificate in beekeeping!
The workshop equipped me with skills in apiary management, apiary setup, hive making, and sustainable beekeeping practices.

Beekeeping gloves are essential because they prevent painful stings on your hands and wrists allowing you to work the hive calmly. By protecting your skin , gloves help you keep the hand control needed to handle frames or top bars smoothly and safely.

Right this is one of the most major problem we face in beekeeping.
Solution: Used engine oil
1.Apply it to the stand legs only - Keep oil away from the hive body and entrance so the bees don’t get contaminated.
2.Reapply after rain - It washes off quickly.
