Been seeing this as an official response from Bungie on stolen art appearing throughout Marathon. They posted it on a side account that has no golden checkmark, attribution, or connection anywhere outside of a tweet from April 23rd.

This thread is insanely damning and shows that @Bungie lifted designs themselves or the company @KurppaHosk did and sold them to Bungie. A number of these are direct copies so while AI sourcing is possible it seems unlikely for all cases here.

Wanted to thank everyone over the last year for supporting our work on the Snail's House ferret rescue. The community has grown immensely and we've got big plans this year. Below you can see what we've done and what we're doing.

What did we do?
This last year we have expanded the rescue to take in a max capacity of 60 ferrets. We've also hired on two staff members one full-time and one part-time. All of the animals have round the clock monitoring, medical treatment, diet management, and enrichment time as a result of this. We've partnered up with veterinarians and local humane societies to ensure the animals have the best possible care and that we're the first ones called during abuse or abandonment cases. Overall we've really come a long way in a short time and I am exceedingly happy with both the staff and level of care we provide.

What comes next?
With that in mind we're planning to expand this year. We're currently in talks with a contractor and our county to work out all the details on a purpose-built facility for ferret care. The proposed facility will have capacity for 250 ferrets, an increase to 8 staff members, 5 rooms for different social groups, a quarantine room for new arrivals, and an industrial extractor for bulk laundry. Overall this will be the permanent facility for our rescue going forward.

How can you pay for this?
The entire organization and all of the care we provide is funded entirely from ad-revenue and short-term partnerships. Normally all of this would be done as a 501c3 charity but that comes with perception drawbacks and instability. I never want anyone to look down on what we're doing and think I am only doing it for some kind of tax break by taking money from my left pocket and putting it into my right pocket. I also don't want this organization to run on donations that can disappear on a whim. This route gives us stability and removes risk. We know the normal economic downturns of ad-revenue throughout the year so there are rarely surprises and when there are we have enough to overcome them. Due to this we can always say "yes" when any ferret has a medical emergency regardless of the bill. Quality of life is paramount.

Anything else?
We also raised $155,030 for the @HumaneSociety in January. This event did a huge deal of good and helped animals all over the country. Incredibly happy to give back and organize something like this for our community to take part in. As an organization that is not a charity it's very easy for us to engage in charity for other groups so expect more events like this.

We're also doing a short-term partnership with @RivalsOfAether right now. Anyone who purchases their Pirate Maypul bundle until April 15th 2025 will support our rescue with 25% of the profits. It's a nice way to support what we're doing and get something cool in a game you might enjoy at the same time.
