The first half of this clip is Trump doing his usual ritual where he is filmed supposedly waving to an adoring crowd coming to see him off last night. The second half I zoom in to show what he’s waving at.
Fake, phony, staged nonsense.
Shelton has become the perfect representation of the kind of American youth that are so coddled and spoiled by their parents that they always manage to turn themselves into the victim, particularly in situations that are slightly unfavorable to them.
Notice how his father conveniently omits the fact that Shelton was trash talking Djokovic the whole match. Shelton mocked Djokovic on the court in ways the cameras didn’t even capture.
And that would’ve all been fine, because that’s what athletes do. So when Djokovic beat him in straight sets (the match wasn’t even close), he decided to return the favor. And Shelton couldn’t handle it. He pouted.
If Shelton and his daddy can’t take the heat, maybe they aren’t ready to compete with the big dogs yet. Instead of being grateful for the opportunity to have so much exposure and to have such a wonderful tournament, they have chosen to go on a tirade against Djokovic and position Shelton as some kind of little victim. It’s off putting and weak.
My family and I were thrilled for Shelton in the early stages of the tournament. I watched every second of his match against Tommy Paul. We were so excited to see a young American player doing so well. I cleared my schedule to watch him play Tiafoe. But if this is the PR strategy they’re taking on Shelton’s behalf, it’s only going to do him a disservice in the end. He’s becoming more unlikable by the minute.
Alcaraz has every reason to be as arrogant as Shelton is. He actually has the game, the experience, and the wins. And yet he still manages to be respectful and humble. Shelton could learn a thing or two from the Spaniard.
2 days ago I randomly bumped into the doctor who in 2017 told me “the good news is the problem you have in your hip can be fixed but you won’t be able to play professional sport again.” I think we dispelled that myth the last 5 days.😉Goodnight ❤️
thinking about when Giannis was a rookie and went to the Western Union & sent all the money he could back to his family in Greece and didn't have any money to get home so he just started running through the Milwaukee cold until a Bucks fan gave him a ride https://t.co/tZPgDojCmY
I am heartbroken to announce that my Dad, my hero, Kevin Mahoney, was killed in the King Soopers shooting in my hometown of Boulder, CO. My dad represents all things Love. I'm so thankful he could walk me down the aisle last summer.
This year alone consist of the following:
- reducing friends circle
- being screwed over a few times
- working on myself
- being able to go through the ups and downs
- picking myself back up and having supportive people keeping me in check.
Thankful for those that stay w me
Free agent forward Blake Griffin has agreed to a deal with the Brooklyn Nets for the rest of the season, his agent Sam Goldfeder of @excelbasketball tells ESPN.
Unbelievable. There are some Dems who want to lower the income eligibility for direct payments from $75,000 to $50,000 for individuals, and $150,000 to $100,000 for couples. In other words, working class people who got checks from Trump would not get them from Biden. Brilliant!
