20-year-old Mohammad Zaid, beaten to death in Ghaziabad’s Loni area after his motorcycle brushed against a car. The accused, a real estate businessman named Rahul Mavi, took Zaid to his office where he and his friend allegedly brutally assaulted him. Rahul has been arrested.

Zaid’s aunt alleged that the accused cut the motorcycle’s fuel pipe and threatened the boys, saying they would also be beaten if they named them to the police.

वाराणसी में AIMIM कार्यकर्ताओं ने नबी-ए-पाक हज़रत मोहम्मद मुस्तफा सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम की शान में कथित अभद्र टिप्पणी के विरोध में जिला मुख्यालय पर प्रदर्शन किया। कार्यकर्ताओं ने राष्ट्रपति के नाम जिलाधिकारी को ज्ञापन सौंपकर नाज़िया इलाही की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी और कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की मांग की। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कहा कि किसी भी धर्म या महापुरुष के खिलाफ अपमानजनक टिप्पणी पर कानून के तहत निष्पक्ष कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि जल्द कार्रवाई नहीं हुई तो लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से आंदोलन को और तेज किया जाएगा। प्रदर्शन शांतिपूर्ण रहा, लेकिन लोगों में इस मुद्दे को लेकर गहरा आक्रोश देखने को मिला।
