@OunkaOnX I live in Dubai and yes it's been worrying but everything is as they are stating. I feel safe here and not wanting to leave. Everything is open for business. The only thing that has been closed to my knowledge has been the schools for this past week.

@HustleBitch_ Seems like a massive over reaction. I live in Dubai and it's been a bit worrying of course but everything is very close to normal. There are now plenty of commercial flights out so seems like an over hype 🙄

@RTSG_Main I live in Dubai and I'm not writing in support of any of these influencers but it's okay here. Yes there are scary moments when you get shelter alerts. But apart from that it's life as usual. Everything (bar, schools) is open for business. There is genuinely very little damage.

@damienslash I've got flights out of DXB to MAN for £860 next Friday as a backup. So not expensive and there was plenty of availability.

I hope I don't need to take these flights if things calm down.

Life goes on and things are pretty normal here in The Springs.
