After years of missing embarrassingly optimistic deadlines, my book, Optionality, is finally out in the world!

This is the best thing I've ever made in my life, by a long shot. Hope you think so too:

Adding new vocab to Anki is so insanely smooth these days:
1. Highlight on kindle as I'm reading
2. dump into Chat and it generates translations, removes dupes, and turns it into an anki deck that I can import within 1 minute
I love this shit so much
just tried this prompt going around:
"From everything you know about me, write a short story with 2000 words tailored exactly to my taste. Think hard."
...it's one of the worst things I've ever read lol

Iโve already eaten lab meat, will eat it exclusively as soon as it is widely available and I - as a 41 year old woman - can currently do more pull ups than the average western man
Aight so ChatGPT 5 is incremental rather than a paradigm shift, but it still cost ~5x more to train than chatgpt 4. If frontier model costs are superlinear and thereโs no strong moat, surely commodification is inevitable??
That would be great for consumers but I donโt understand what investors are thinking here. If thereโs no big discontinuous breakthrough, whatโs left? only thing I can think of is theyโre betting on oligopoly/cronyism/platform lock-in kinda dynamics, which is not very inspiring ๐ง
this has always been wrong - but now categorically wrong in the era of RL on verifiable domains
models are truth seeking and even interact with a hard outside world via tool use
