At a time when hate seeks to silence those who challenge the mainstream, those who speak truth, and those who defend the voiceless — know this:
many of us will continue to show up, to speak up, and to stand beside you.
We will not be quiet.
We will not look away.
We will not let your voice be erased.
And #BringThemHomeNOW
Good on you, @Travisdhanraj!
Taking a stand for morals and leading with integrity — exactly what true journalism and leadership should look like. We need more voices like yours.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is a regime that tortures women, funds terror, and fuels the hatred that puts workers and communities in danger. Any union aligning itself with this regime has lost its moral compass. A complete embarrassment to the labour movement.
As many of you know, we have launched a human rights claim against CUPE Ontario and Fred Hahn for discrimination against Jewish unionized members. We are shocked and disgusted to see that CUPE Ontario is proudly endorsing a 'hands off Iran" protest. Despite being involved in active litigation from its own Jewish members, CUPE Ontario continues to show it doesn't care and doubles down on its discriminatory actions.
Private sector unions want to get things built in Canada. Strong message here from 18 unions - and 60,000 workers - in Alberta in support of @ABDanielleSmith and her call to fast-track projects.
Last night, the bodies of Canadian Judih Weinstein and her husband Gad Haggai were recovered and returned to Israel from Gaza. Sending ❤️ and prayers to their daughter Iris Weinstein Haggai and all Judih and Gad's family. We must never ever forget, they were murdered by Hamas terrorists because they were Jews. We must not rest until every one of the hostages still held in Gaza is returned home. #bringthemhomenow🎗️🇮🇱💙
Today was a proud wife moment as my husband was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal, presented by the Ontario Government in recognition of his service to our country. 🇨🇦👑
As a retired Corporal with the Canadian Military Reserves, serving with 31 Combat Engineer Regiment (31 CER), he has dedicated himself to a life of quiet strength, integrity, and commitment.
He wore his regimental tartan tie with pride — a small but powerful symbol of where he comes from and who he served alongside.
There are so many moments over the years that I’ve watched him show up with quiet strength, humility, and loyalty.
Today, he was honoured for that — and I couldn’t be prouder. 🇨🇦
National Day of Mourning is a powerful reminder that behind every workplace tragedy is a real life lost — someone’s family, someone’s story, someone’s future.
Today, we remember those who didn’t come home and the many more who live with the impact of workplace injuries and illnesses.
We owe it to them — and to each other — to keep building a culture where health and safety are treated as essential, not optional.
Today we pause.
Tomorrow and every day after, we work to do better.

Join me this afternoon as our government, along with our partners, announce a new grant program for trades unions to deliver apprenticeship training as part of Budget 2025. https://t.co/n1vxZAf2ZW
I cannot get over the smugness. It was their policy that drove up the price of gas and everything else.
Until 30 seconds ago if you opposed a carbon tax you were a climate change denying monster.
And btw- they haven’t gotten rid of the carbon tax. They didn’t repeal the law. They set the rate to zero which means they can raise it without a vote…(And Carney hasn’t said he won’t. He’s only said it’s the wrong time right now for a carbon tax).
BREAKING: Conservatives will bring back apprenticeship grants & fund trade schools to train 350,000 workers in BOOTS, NOT SUITS!
This will build Canada First, and help break our dependence on the U.S.
Let's bring it home: https://t.co/eIy7PDtCaB
