@Figoholic@TheDomSquad17@C10_ten@WayneinRome It is fine, but you can't use longevity, trophies, or even eye test to make the argument. That's my point. The argument to be made is that Balotelli is a psycho that could not maintain his peak, which was higher than Toni and Immobile. We shall see with Belotti, who is a baller.
@Figoholic@TheDomSquad17@C10_ten@WayneinRome I watched both. Balotelli did things Immobile could never dream of. He has a better trophy case.
Immobile played a long time and scored a lot of goals that didn't result in trophies.
Neither is among the greats. Balotelli is one of IT's best strikers in the last 30 yrs.
@Figoholic@TheDomSquad17@C10_ten@WayneinRome Sure:
Balotelli: 3 Scudettos, an EPL title, and a UCL title.
Immobile: 0 league titles. 1 Euro. Lots of league goals that didn't win him anything.
You brought up trophies, which set would you rather have?
@Figoholic@TheDomSquad17@C10_ten@WayneinRome I see you mentioned Luca Toni and Immobile. Good players, but if you think they're "true greatness," keep believing in fairy tales.
I don't think Balotelli is one of the greats. But he is one of the best Italian strikers in the last several decades.
