@JonahDispatch@Uber@BretBaier I wonder if they’ve become such a default they know most people won’t shop around. I’m in Manhattan so have subway and taxi outside options, even with those I’ve often saved $30+ waiting the 5-10 minutes for an open taxi vs uber during surge pricing
@CheeseForEvery1 Yeah we went over passages from the King James bible in my high school’s british literature class. The teacher was atheist/agnostic presenting (never asked) and explained that we needed the context for the other literature. The translation was a major project at the time
