Man yall complaining about NCAA 27 are doing way too much. Gameplay is much improved and still feels like college football. I swear its those people that want cap plays from YouTube are the ones complaining lol
@Tydavis92 Sadly thats always how Madden has been and EA brought it to CFB. The trick is intentionally call a play and audible to a counter because the CPU will cover up the 1st and possibly 2nd read. It forces you to play ugly football to win
@VoiceOfTheStar That was infuriating last year. All the national guys had DK Metcalf and Pickens as a top 5 duo all offseason, but then as soon as he got traded to Dallas it was called a bad trade and Pickens was not that good.
@LordCleetus You'd be surprised I'm seeing a lot of complaints about gameplay. I understand the microtransactions issue but are we surprised? Greed is the name of the game.
But then the question would be why is he a losing coach? Because the FO picked the DC and have been rebuilding this team before Schotty became HC. He was set up to fail in his 1st year because of poor decisions coming from the top.
@DannyPhantom24 The above shows you the biggest detriment tk the Cowboys winning a Super Bowl. The Jones always have thier pet coach who they cant let go. While i dont dislike Schotty so far hes a losing coach. Whether that turns around is yet to be seen.
I've said this over and over. We give too much credit to the Cowboys FO. A lot of the issues come from them as in not investing in the right coaches and the issues trickle down from there. We have to luck into great coach's for this team to succeed. I believe in Schotty and CP π―
After hearing what Brian Schottenheimer recently said, this is how I think things went down (note: pure speculation based on the info I have)...
The Joneses liked McCarthy. They also liked Schotty. They wanted to keep McCarthy around but also keep Schotty in their back pocket. Because the Joneses were already mapping out their contingency plan, McCarthy wasn't offered a long-term deal, ultimately resulting in both sides parting ways.
Onto the contingency - Cowboys interviewed a couple of defensive-minded head coach candidates (Leslie Frazier and Robert Salah) who likely would have had to inherit Schotty as the team's new playcaller. Kellen was also interviewed and was a finalist, but with Kellen came no shot to keep Schott.
The Joneses did the only thing they could to keep the one guy they wanted in the building, and that was to make him the head coach. The only question that remains is - was that the right choice?
A year later, the ultra-communicating head coach gets himself an ultra-communicating defensive coordinator. His stamp on the team continues. He also remains a Jones-whisperer type head coach who can work under the unique management of the Cowboys organization while still building his own culture, and that skillset can never be undersold.
The Cowboys' management is always confusing, often sloppy, and sometimes even a little toxic, but these are the cards we are dealt. We can't change it. But as cringy as it can be sometimes, we might at least have the right head coach playing the hand.
Lol sadly I remember this and yall want me to trust the FO haha Cowboys will succeed if we luck into great coach's plain and simple. I believe in Schotty and CP π― #DallasCowboys
The Milwaukee Bucks are trading Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis to the Miami Heat for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, 3 first-round picks (including No. 13), 1 pick swap and 1 second-rounder, sources tell @ShamsCharania.
