Sat down and read through PHOENIX 1-10 and I wanna ramble. Stephanie Phillips had the difficult task of both introducing Jean to readers and continuing a story years in the making. I think she handled it amazingly well. That being said…🧵#XSpoilers

@1Greymalkin There is a pervasive myth among X-Men fans that Rachel never lost control and thus was a better Phoenix than Jean, but it’s not accurate. We see Dark Phoenix Rachel here and she was going to kill way more people than Jean did. Luckily Storm stopped her.
