My thoughts are with the families of the kidnapped victims in Oyo. However, I can’t help but wonder why this case is receiving so much media attention when similar incidents in the North often go largely unnoticed. This protest is about the challenges facing the entire country,
Indeed, Obi’s desperation to remain on the 2027 ballot by any route has finally dragged him into the kind of political mess he once claimed to oppose.
The same man who built his image on due process, fairness and “go and verify” has now found himself inside a party where aspirants are allegedly watching their mandates replaced by moneybags after primaries. Yet Obi is silent. Muted. Caged by ambition.
When it was 2023, he cried about rigging and injustice. Today, when the injustice is happening inside his new political shelter, he suddenly remembers “sacrifice” and party unity. That is not principle. That is convenience.
This is why some of us warned that his movement was not about reforming politics, but about finding any available vehicle to power.
After dividing the opposition, insulting everyone who raised concerns, and presenting himself as Nigeria’s moral standard, Obi is now trapped in a landmine of his own desperation.
A man who cannot defend internal democracy in his party cannot lecture Nigeria about saving democracy.
"Rabiu Kwankwaso thinks we are all mad for him to come and tell us Peter Obi will step aside after 4 years.
The same 4 year agreement failed with Obasanjo, it also failed with Goodluck Jonathan and now you expect an Igbo person looking for power since the civil war to handover to you after 4 years"
Kwankwaso is destroying the unity of the North. I want him to know that we will never forget this betrayal, and by the grace of God, we will succeed with or without him. MUNAFIKI KAUWAI

@MaisheraTM@jrnaib2 Na’ibi don’t stress yourself on this folks. Let’s meet on the ballot. The truth is we will all vote for our own. North is for Atiku hands down we don’t make noise online
