@jbcarmody Obviously if you want to be a neurosurgeon, do not apply carribean. But most other specialties are 100% attainable, many of my classmates matched into competitive specialties

@jbcarmody Im a US IMG,-the img route has its BS for sure, but if you can make it through the first two years i would say you will be just fine. I had 40+ interviews and matched into my top choice in the specialty I long desired before even entering med school

@BlackSheepAwake @ashleyfxxx The doctors dont get any of that money. Doctors are paid a flat salary. That money goes to the insurance companies, hospital administrators.
