Makerere University, in partnership with The Mastercard Foundation, is providing 1,000 academically talented, yet financially disadvantaged students from across Africa the opportunity to pursue their dreams at the Ivory Tower between 2023 and 2034. This program is part of a larger efforts by the Foundation and Makerere University to develop young leaders who will contribute to the betterment of their communities and the continent as a whole.
The Scholarship is fully funded with numerous opportunities for leadership development, Entrepreneurship development and mentorship.
