Lidia Biniam Medhin is a PhD candidate at Edith Cowan University. Her research focuses on finding a simple blood test to predict how cancer treatments will work, to personalise patient treatments. She sits on the WA State ASMR Committee.

It was fun to catch up with a great team of up & coming & established researchers as well as the long term head Peter Leedman AO at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research yesterday and learn about the excellent #research being conducted there. (I also enjoyed surprising some of my pathology friends by turning up unexpectedly in their dept at the adjacent Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital)!
