Even though we don’t have snow today in coastal Georgia, we enjoyed the story, The Jacket I Wear in the Snow. These kindergarten students did a fantastic job sequencing the story using @miniland_es to create the main character! ❄️ #RHPSistheBEST@ReadAloud_org@GetGAReading
These first graders learned a plethora of new vocabulary words with our read aloud by @WendellMinor immense, astronomical, colossal, and jumbo. Then they built some stupendous creations with gears from @LearningHandsOn#RHPSistheBEST@ReadAloud_org
We are making our own Autumn 🍂 Stories with @LEGO_Education. We have been reading about apple orchards, the four seasons, scarecrows, and leaves 🍁 changing! #RHPSistheBEST @glma @georgialibs
Creative first grade minds at work from @AmyBraddock3 making marble runs. Endless hours of engineering all week long after we read how kids use to play marbles long ago from our #nonfiction read aloud. #RHPSistheBEST#RHPSreads#readaloud
We are having fun designing our own playgrounds. We can’t thank our PTSO enough for all the hard work they have done this year to raise money for real playground upgrades @RichmondHill_PS! #RHPSistheBEST
We’ve been reading about the 3 R’s for Earth 🌎 Day all week. RHPS students are going to turn off the faucet to save water 💦 when they brush 🪥 their teeth. Then we made @KNEXeducation animals as we are conserving water for humans, animals, and plants! #RHPSistheBEST#RHPSreads
Chugga, Chugga, Choo, Choo, students learned facts and information from our #nonfiction train 🚂 story time all week. The students were super engaged as the train tracks run right by our school and we hear the whistle daily. They loved building their own trains. 🚂#RHPSistheBEST
First grade students in the Coding Club @RichmondHill_PS had to #debug their commands if the rabbit didn’t eat all the carrots. They created loops to make their code shorter. Then we had fun learning some coding commands with #DashTheRobot#coding#RHPSistheBEST
