Decided to disconnect from unnecessary social media that I felt was impacting my work and personal life. Have you made this decision in your life and if so how have you benefitted?

@chris_neto In most companies teams outside leadership get a little nervous to change technologies that will impact a “townhall” meeting. You need to start small and ramp up easily. Start in common meeting spaces, then into sr mgmt spaces. Then move forward.

@ericjcantrell @chris_neto I agree. I feel that a company CAN become innovated and design a highly creative system but our current theme we see is simplicity. With that said, to be simple and deliver the required items forces creativity in a different way.

@MattTMontgomery @chris_neto @AlexCharfen I totally agree. I always worked for the position I wanted and not the position I had. To me the position I had was a lesson or a tool to get to where I wanted to go. Young AV professionals do not understand this at all.

@KarenBTX @chris_neto Funny and true lol. I also feel the senior staff who oversee the future AV professionals need to be as stern and informative of the professionals we had 10-15 years ago.

@TheTechReps @chris_neto I disagree. I have had techs onsite and they tell me “according to google your firmware is out of date”. Then I troubleshoot the system and I find a bad HDMI cable, Google cant tell me that.

@chris_neto I have gotten to the point of telling me people I Design and manage the build of audio visual needs for commercial and corporate environments. Then if they still look clueless I tell them I help pick TV’s and remotes for conference rooms lol
