@itsmebeale@jupiterbrandos Mate I am not shifting thru all TCC videos to find a specific moment for a rando. I’m sure you can message his writer, who is a professional player, and she’ll can direct you.
@itsmebeale@jupiterbrandos Also the idea that aesthetic decline does not matter to 60 card formats is wild. If you like the slop that’s your business I guess. In regards to expenses I’m talking about as a trend - not singular examples
@jupiterbrandos Like I don’t think you could wish for more gracious people in the dominant format - and I think that’s part of why the format is so dominant especially on YouTube.
@jupiterbrandos I don’t blame you for not watching commander related content on YouTube, but what you’re saying is just flatly false. Literally every Commander channel has bemoaned the state of the game and has said that they wish WoTC took better care of other formats.
@ettingermentum It also just misses that regardless of his faults he has campaigned very extensively and very well. The people he interacts with end up liking him
@DJ_Sapien@MMckenzie73 Gonna be real that the opening for Exhuma was great but it shortly begin to feel like a Korean version of The Conjuring. Was very disappointed
@CriticalEDH It’s a social dynamic that’s so played out and boring. tEDH is extremely exciting and rewarding. I think other formats see the excitement and if they were honest would probably just admit they are jealous of the momentum.
@ContraPoints@NathanJRobinson Ok but what you’re avoiding is the question of what does bigotry arise out of? What are its origins, why does it find purchase, and what social conditions exacerbate it?
@33elkMTG@CriticalEDH Regardless if my response is proportionate or not I think it’s fairly obvious that pointing and laughing at a format is at bare minimum “antagonistic”. Not really “reeling”, I’m just very much over the smug attitude that people outside the format take towards it.
