@asothdotcom I’m deathly afraid we’re going to do something similar with OkoJu. I’ll be absolutely furious with Sydney FC’s board if they don’t get what the players worth when OkoJu inevitably goes to bigger things later this window. Absolutely fucking furious.
I'm not Ugarte's biggest fan, but cunts on here saying things like "now we're stuck with him" etc. need to give their heads a wobble and realise that behind the player there's a human who's just smashed his kneecap in two. INEOS are to blame for our midfield problems, not Manuel.
@MicallefPhilip@Socceroos@FIFAWorldCup Nearly 30 years ago Phil. Surely we’ve put that behind us. 😂😂😂 I’d rather face New Zealand, would be a much bigger occasion.
Job done and second place secured with that draw. Fantastic result for Australia considering we were favourites to be bottom of the group pre tournament. I dont think we can be accused of parking the bus that much. We had more and the better chances. Can’t wait to see who’s next.
@dylan__CLE They started the shit talk but we gave as good as we got pre game. Unfortunately they were proven right, we just need to take our medicine. Shit talk giveth, shit talk taketh away. If people can’t handle that then don’t shit talk, simple.
Popa really got the team selections wrong. Leckie and Velupillay ahead of Irakunda and Metcalfe were mind boggling. Volpato looked good though. Changes I’d make for Paraguay:
Ryan in for Beach
Herrington in for Burgess
Irakunda in for Velupillay
Metcalfe or Volpato in for Leckie
@simonhill1894 Well unfortunately American culture celebrates this kind of arrogance, so if we want a bit more humility from them we better hope they lose soon. Until then we just got to cop our medicine.
