It is amazing to me that some Orthopaedic surgeons want to see only new patients who are "appropriate or ready for surgery".

If you never see patients for whom nonoperative management is appropriate, how do you know when surgery is actually indicated?

65 years old lady, no chronic medical conditions.
Post TTC nail right ankle 9 years back .
Came to me complaining of progressive ankle pain with on/off swelling.patient is community mobilizer with cane!
No recent trauma .any ideas?

21 years old male . Cerebral palsy . He walks at home, , outdoors and in the community. He perform gross motor skills such as running and jumping, but speed, balance and coordination are limited.
