Group 1 isn’t letting training take a holiday by getting in some drafting and pump training. FF Paramedic Jim Kaufman helps some local Medway kids even got a tour of Engine 3.

Medway Fire personnel are responding to multiple storm related calls this evening. Stay away from any downed power lines and call 911. Eversource is in Medway and aware of the situation and working to restore power town wide.

With a heat index of 103, the Medway Fire Department is urging all residents to check on their neighbors, drink water and find a cool place to rest. The Senior Center at 76 Oakland St, is Medway’s cooling center and open until 8:00 PM through this heatwave and the summer.

Home security camera captures the moment lightening struck on Ardmore Circle last night, as storms rolled through Medway. Engine 3, Ladder 1 along with Car 2 and mutual aide from Bellingham and Millis responded. Residence was deemed safe but will need an electrician.
