@SkeletorAD @LPNH It's actually a game theory problem and we were the losers in this "prisoner's dilemma". We chose to cooperate and got shafted. Look at CO now. It is a true beacon of liberty. We clearly got significant gains in taxation or gun rights for cooperating with the Ds for weed.

@LPNH My fundamental problem with it is that we align with the Left on this issue but when we ally with them, it is a one-way street. Visit CO sometime. Freedom only improved for the drug addicts. Every other Libertarian position lost. We got nothing out of it.

@esrtweet @engineers_feed I do it similarly. I was a bit of a natural rebel, even in grade school, and refused to memorize the multiplication tables. I just got really good at doing the math in my head quickly, which happens to be a much more useful skill than a memorized table.

LLMs are a solution in search of a problem given the investment. It reminds me of the web 3 people trying mightily to find a way to make block chain the "next big thing" and all the crazy things they came up with.

AI has improved maybe 20% of my corp job but it's certainly no revolution, it's an evolutionary improvement in computation.

@SecurityAura I'm glad someone else is having this experience. Work pays for ChatGPT and wants us to use it but it takes way too long to get a correct KQL query out of it and it always ends up being badly optimized spaghetti. Crazy how bad it is and the MS tables are so well documented

@curdmudgeon1 @travis4nh I'm sure they made it and it was denied. Judges are cowards and would prefer a not guilty jury verdict as it is un-appealable. It saves face and prevents controversy like what happened in this case by putting the onus for the guilty going free on the anonymous jury.
