Day by day, jobs are slipping away.
Day by day, open merit is being reduced to zero. We were assured our concerns would be addressed. Promises were made. Hope was given. But till date nothing has changed. Our frustration is not entitlement, it is exhaustion.
Our anger is not rebellion, it is survival.
What is our crime? Studying hard? Believing in merit? Trusting the system?
An entire generation is being pushed into uncertainty, silence and despair.
This is not reform, this is exclusion.
We humbly request @RuhullahMehdi Sahaab to please intervene and help pull us out of this mess.
Your voice is our last hope.

If a category student can get selection in OM, why not the so called advocates of merit? And if anyone get selection in OM, what has govt to do with that?

Total 502 posts. Only 106 under Open Merit and pure general category candidates are just 66 that's 13%.
This raises a serious question, what remains of General Category in J&K?
Reservation was meant to support, not to shrink merit into irrelevance. When students competing without any relaxation are left with crumbs the system loses balance. I was detained for speaking up on this but silence is not an option. This is not against any community. This is for fairness, transparency and equal opportunity.
Merit must not be the casualty.

My simple question to the advocates of merit is this, if a category candidate can compete and get selected in the OM category, why can’t an OM candidate do the same? Instead of spreading venom and propaganda, if you had studied, you might have been selected.

JKSSB advertised the same posts in different notifications, forcing students to pay the application fee multiple times for the same post.
This is unfair, exploitative, and puts unnecessary financial burden on aspirants.
Transparency and accountability are needed. #jkssb

The funny part is that the ones shouting merit merit the most are usually the ones least confident about clearing the exam themselves. If you’re so sure others won’t qualify, then be equally sure about your own selection.
